The historic city of Elche and the largest palm grove in Europe

The most important tourist attraction in Elche is undoubtedly the largest palm grove in Europe, the Palmeral de Elche (Hort del Clot dels Tres). Covering an area of about 1.5 square kilometres, it is home to 70,000 palm trees and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. However, the picturesque town boasts a number of other places of interest.



City of Cartagena

Mud baths Las charcas

The famous Lo Pagan mud baths known as Las Charcas de las Salinas or Baños de lodo (mud baths), are situated just past, San Pedro del Pinatar, on the North bank of the Mar Menor (Small Sea) in the province of Murcia.



Island of Tabarca

The marine reserve (Reserva marina de la Isla de Tabarca), the captivating architecture and the charming natural scenery, all offer the island of Tabarca. Interestingly, it is also the smallest permanently inhabited island in Spain.



Mar Menor Lagoon

The coastal salt lagoon of the Mar Menor (Lesser Sea) is the largest in Europe with an area of about 170 square kilometres. Its warm water (on average 4 degrees higher than that of the neighbouring Mediterranean) and shallow depth (maximum 7 metres), together with its beautiful beaches, make it ideal for children's first swimming lessons. And thanks to its high salinity, again the highest on the old continent, its waters are healthy for all.



Waterfall Les Fonts d'Algar

Les Fonts d'Algar... oasis will show you the importance of water as an ecological, economic and cultural resource. During your visit, you can walk 1.5 km along the banks of the Algar River, which means "cave" in Arabic.



Aqualandia Water Park

Aqualandia Benidorm Water Park...
It boasts a generous surface area, an almost endless array of attractions for children and adults and the highest water slide in Europe. In September 2010, Aqualandia set a remarkable record of 3,110 people bathing in the artificial wave for 5 minutes with a squirt gun!



ZOO Mundomar

Mundomar is an animal theme park located in Benidorm. It is a sister park to the Aqualandia water park, which is directly adjacent to it and with which it shares the same car park. At the top of Mundomar, next to the dolphinarium, there is a lookout point that overlooks most of Aqualandia and all of Benidorm.
