Surrounding beaches

The Costa Blanca, part of Spain's south-eastern Mediterranean coastline, measures 244km and has more than 175 beaches.

There are many sandy beaches separated by stone cliffs. The nearest beaches are Playa Flamenca (here there is a section reserved for nudists - FKK), Playa de la Zenia, Playa Cala La Mosca, Cabo Roig, Cala de Campoamor, Playa del Campo, or Playa de Mil Palmeras, as well as many others...

Playa Cala La Mosca

Playa Cala La Mosca is a picturesque beach in the municipality of Orihuela, Alicante, Spain, known for its natural charm and tranquility. The beach is prominent for its golden sand and calm, crystal clear waters. It spans a width of 44 meters and a length of 108 meters, providing a spacious area for visitors to relax and enjoy the sun.

Playa Flamenca

The main Playa Flamenca Beach is just a short walk from the central commercial district and residential areas. The beach is cleaned daily although when the sea gets rough it can bring with it a good amount of algae and seaweed. The fine sand shelves quite gently but there are a few rocks in the water so some visitors wear swimming slippers. At either end of the beach there are rocky areas to explore for those with snorkelling gear.

Playa del Campo

The beach is characterized by its peaceful environment, surrounded by dunes covered in Mediterranean vegetation and pine trees, without any nearby buildings. This tranquil setting, coupled with the calm Mediterranean sea, provides an ideal spot for a relaxing trip to enjoy the sea and the breeze. As part of the 11 kilometers of beaches in Guardamar del Segura, Playa del Campo is considered a virgin beach due to its natural state.

Playa de La Zenia

La Zenia Beach is centrally located on the Orihuela Costa, and although not very large it still remains extremely popular. This is partly due to the fantastic activities, attractions, shopping and entertainment venues that can be enjoyed within walking distance from La Zenia Beach. The other attraction of course is the beach itself. Wide golden sands are overlooked by the Hotel Servigroup La Zenia, where beach goers can enjoy snacks and main meals on the terrace overlooking the beach or in the seating areas around the hotel's swimming pool.

Playa de Mil Palmeras

The main Mil Palmeras Beach is directly in front of the village centre and boasts fine wide sands, disabled access, lifeguards during the summer months, sun loungers, parasols, beach sports and a nearby children's playground. On either side of the river estuary are a selection of popular beach bars (chiringuitos) with fun names such as Pirate and Popeye Bar.

Playa de La Mata

The Playa de la Mata is the longest beach located in Torrevieja, Spain. Visitors can enjoy various experiences such as changing infrastructure, water and beach cleanliness, and clientele. It can be easily accessed from Playa de los Locos by moving further north along the coast. Unlike other crowded city beaches, Playa de la Mata provides privacy and relaxation. It also offers surfable waves for beginners with a surf school available.

Nudist beaches - FKK

Spain, with its sun-soaked beaches, vibrant culture, and diverse landscapes, is a beloved destination for travelers worldwide. For those interested in nudism or naturism, Spain offers a multitude of opportunities to embrace a clothing-optional lifestyle.

Coastal promenade 16 Km long

This 16km scenic promenade runs along the Mediterranean coastline of Orihuela Costa and offers breathtaking views of cliffs, coves, beaches, crystal clear water and golden sand, including the two marinas of Cabo Roig and Campoamor.
