Playa de La Zenia

La Zenia Beach is centrally located on the Orihuela Costa, and although not very large it still remains extremely popular. This is partly due to the fantastic activities, attractions, shopping and entertainment venues that can be enjoyed within walking distance from La Zenia Beach. The other attraction of course is the beach itself. Wide golden sands are overlooked by the Hotel Servigroup La Zenia, where beach goers can enjoy snacks and main meals on the terrace overlooking the beach or in the seating areas around the hotel's swimming pool.

The focal point and great social scene at La Zenia Beach is its charming and very lively beach bar (chiringuito). Located right on the sand with seating areas, the bar is run by friendly Spaniards who, no matter how busy it gets are always up for a laugh and joke. Ice cold beers, wine and sangria flow, their colourful cocktails pack a punch and there is a good range of soft drinks, ice creams, snacks and light bites all accompanied by the latest chill out tunes.

The fine beach sand is cleaned daily and there is wheelchair access and a first aid point during the summer months. Lifeguards are on duty and visitors can hire sun loungers, pedalos and jet skis. Further facilities include showers and ablutions, and at each end of the beach are rocky areas to enjoy a bit of snorkelling.


La Zenia Bars & Shopping
A short walk up from the beach there are several very popular bars and restaurants centred around the roundabout. The most popular of these is Paddy's Point where visitors can enjoy delicious Irish fare and pints of Guinness and Irish cider.

Continuing up from the roundabout is a commercial centre with further bars, restaurants, a supermarket, garage and large Pets World retailer. The highlight of the area though is the fantastic Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping complex in the Alicante Province.
