Benidorm, Spanish Manhattan
The most skyscrapers per square meter after Manhattan, the beautiful Benidorm Bay, beautiful beaches with clear blue water, all surrounded by a wall of mountains. Although I personally prefer quieter resorts, Benidorm literally blew me away. The town has a unique atmosphere and there is something for everyone. Words and photos are not nearly enough to evoke the atmosphere of the city, Benidorm has to be experienced.
Benidorm is approximately 100 kilometres from Torrevieja. A trip to Benidorm can be combined with a visit to Guadalest Castle, the ancient city of Altea, modern Calpe and swimming under the waterfalls of the Algar River.
